These plantable greeting cards grow wildflowers!!!

Description

This plantable greeting card will grow wildflowers!!!

The inside of this card is blank.

A2 size – 4.25" x 5.5"

Writing on the card will not affect the soil or flowers! You can use any writing utensil available, but the best results will be from a regular ballpoint pen. Our supplier has had 3rd party lab testing done and have found no negative impacts to the soil or flowers as a result of the ink printed on the card or ink written in them. Happy planting!

* Design for "Freaking Human" is slightly different to the image(dark silhouette)

Packaging

The card comes with a paper envelope.

Materials

All cards are made with plantable seed paper — a biodegradable eco-paper that is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials collected from schools and businesses (no trees harmed in the making!). The cards are printed with water-based inks (~80%). The remainder of the ink is pigments, which are tested by a 3rd party lab to ensure they do not leave harmful residues in soil. The only other ingredient? Seeds!

The paper includes 7 different types of wildflowers seeds, including:
Bird's Eye - Annual
Clarkia - Annual
Black Eyed Susan - Perennial
Catchfly - Annual
Snapdragon - Annual
English Daisy - Perennial
Sweet Alyssum - Annual

These seeds are all non-GMO and also tested by a 3rd party lab to ensure they are free of noxious weeds. Note: individual states may have their own regulations about what is and isn't "invasive" in the area — please check your state's list of invasive species before planting!

Envelopes are made of A2 size, recycled kraft paper.

End of Life

Planting Instructions:

  1. soak the seed paper in water overnight.
  2. loosen the soil (outdoor) or fill a pot with potting soil (indoor).
  3. remove a light layer of soil and place the seed paper.
  4. add the light layer of soil back over the top of the seed paper to retain moisture.
  5. water generously, especially for the first 4-6 weeks.
  6. enjoy your wildflowers!
