The Organic Self-Watering Planter was carefully crafted to help you easily grow your own organic cherry tomatoes or peppers at home - just add water once a week!
Tips for Winter Growing:
-
Temperature: Tomatoes/Peppers/
etc. have ideal temps in the mid 70s for indoor growing. During winter months, sometimes spots near windows can be a bit colder than the rest of the house, so growers should try to keep planters above 70 degrees (especially during germination!). They'll still grow at lower temps, but not as large or hearty. - Sunlight: Winter months have fewer sunlight hours, so growers should definitely aim for a south-facing window placement for these planters (best direction to get the recommended 8+ hours of sun). If they do not have a south-facing window, we recommend a small grow light to supplement the natural light they do have! Also worth noting - many grow lights can help keep temperatures a bit hiring (solving 2 issues with one solution!).
