How to Use
Use the bin with or without a liner. Please check with your compost drop off location if they accept paper bags that can be used as liners or compost bin bioplastic liners.
Please check with your local compost drop off location for a list of food scraps they accept(many do not accept bones for example due to their longer decomposing time!).
Can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to slow decomposition of the food till your compost drop-off day!
To secure the filter to the lid: unscrew the nob on the lid, make a tiny hole on the center of the filter for the screw to go through, insert the screw back into the lid through the filter and reattach the nob on the top side. This should fix the filter to the lid! You can also cut the filter to fit if required.
Care Instructions: Hand wash the bin between uses to keep clean, avoid prolonged soaking, wipe dry/air dry. Not recommended for dishwasher. The Cotton and Activated Charcoal Filter can be cleaned with soap and water and will last more than 6 months with careful handling. Ensure the filter is completely air dried before inserting back into the lid.
