1. Before first use & in between cycles, boil the Dot Cup in water for 5 minutes & let cool. Wash the Dot Cup with a mild soap for at least 30 seconds & rinse with water for at least 30 seconds. 2. To insert, sit on the toilet or stand with one leg up & relax your muscles. With clean hands, fold the Dot Cup using one of the methods shown & insert it into your vagina, gently pushing up & back until it is fully inside. Release the fold & the cup will pop open, creating a light suction. Pulse your muscles or twist the base of the cup to help settle it into place. 3.After no more than 12 hours or when the cup feels full, remove the cup. Bear down (push with the vaginal/rectal muscles) & wiggle the cup downward by the stem. To actually remove the cup, firmly pinch the base of the cup itself to release the suction & continue to pinch as you remove and empty. Care Instructions: Before use & between uses, wash the Dot Cup with a mild soap. Wash hands before & after handling the Dot Cup. Inspect the Dot Cup regularly. If signs of deterioration, odor, or tearing are detected, it’s probably time for a new one. When cared for properly, the Dot Cup can last for 10 years. Store in a dry place.
